Roll Out the Red Carpet!
Come to First Night Chatham . . . Fun for the whole family
Not to be missed this year –
- A new venue, the fabulous Orpheum Theater on Main Street, with afternoon and evening performances
- 13 new performers
- 57 entertainers
- 14 special events
- New mobile-style web pages to make it easier to view the performers and schedules from your smartphone (see preview)
- Cape Cod Opera’s final bow as the beloved performing group salutes the movies on December 30, the night before the night
Should buttons sell out again this year, revelers will find 12 button free events, an outdoor PLINTH with street performers changing every 15 minutes, plentiful food vendors, and a welcoming town full of warmth, appropriate noise and energy, and both early and late fireworks.
FNC still embraces the traditional happenings — the Town Photo at noon, the charming horse-drawn wagons on Main Street, the circus at the high school, a Noise Parade, the spectacle of the Countdown Cod descending and fireworks rising in the sky at midnight, and the promise of a new year full of all good things.

Thank You All for Coming to First Night Chatham 2013!
|Panorama Check out our panorama photo that allows you to zoom in and out and actually see faces. There are some mysterious black lines in this year’s panorama. Could it be a portal to past celebrations by the settlers from the last 300 years, or is it merely an artifact of software? It was a great year!Trouble viewing the panorama? iOS devices need the Photosynth app from the App Store. Mac computers need the Silverlight plugin for a browser. Not available for Android devices.|
