Chev Hardy is a jazz vocalist and lover of “well-aged” pop, whose rich contralto weaves effortlessly through her repertoire of blues, pop and jazz standards. She has performed at venues both on and off the Cape, including The Mews Restaurant and Tin Pan Alley in Provincetown, Birdland in NYC, the annual Yule for Fuel event at WHAT in Wellfleet and the Cape Cod Women's Music Festival at the Cape Playhouse in Dennis. She has also appeared in plays and cabaret performances at Provincetown Theater.
Chev will be accompanied by Greg Polanik. Greg honed his skills in the jazz clubs of St. Louis, before arriving on the Cape a few years ago. With decades of experience on the acoustic and electric guitar, he has performed such diverse styles as Mainstream Jazz, Afro-Cuban Jazz, Son Cubano, Blues, Country and Classical. Greg weaves these wide ranging influences together to create music that can be both intimate and exciting. He can be heard performing locally with his current projects: Cognitive Dissonance (Mainstream and Afro-Cuban Jazz), Cape Cod Caribe (Son Cubano, Afro-Cuban Jazz) and RumbleWagon (Acoustic Country).
