Volunteer
The Chatham First Night 2010 Committee relies on the participation of volunteers - they make the celebration possible. If you would like to work as a site volunteer this season, please contact the volunteer coordinators as soon as possible so you get your preferred assignment. Also, if you have friends who would like to volunteer, please let us know.
We are encouraging all of our volunteers to commit to more than one shift, either at the same site or at a different venue. Think of it as an opportunity to enjoy a second event without standing in line!
Volunteers are invited to attend an orientation meeting at the United Methodist Church, Main Street at Cross Street, on Tuesday, December 29 from 4 to 5 pm. As always, our volunteers will be treated to pizza and beverages at this meeting. Police and Fire Department representatives will brief you on Public Safety. We will pass out and review event schedules and volunteer instructions for New Year's Eve.
If you are unable to attend the meeting, please pick up the volunteer instructions at First Night Headquarters and review them before reporting to your site. Check the list of ENTERTAINERS to request a site assignment.
